This sprawling brick home on Claytor Lake had served generations of the R family, but its layout no longer supported their changing needs. With retirement on the horizon and growing family gatherings, they needed safer, more flexible spaces that could comfortably host everyone—from two people to many. Ink Works Studio redesigned the home to separate guest accommodations from the main sleeping areas while introducing large, open gathering spaces that adapt to family celebrations or quiet evenings for two. The new plan balances comfort, accessibility, and connection to the lake setting. Completed in 2025 by Mosier Construction, the renewed R Family home now provides a safe, elegant environment for retirement living and generations of family memories to come.
