This 1940s bungalow, purchased as an investment property, had suffered years of neglect and structural damage. The new owner wanted to restore its charm and functionality within the constraints of the original footprint. Ink Works Studio designed a contemporary, efficient floorplan that maximized light and livability. The damaged roof and deck were fully rebuilt, the former carport was enclosed to expand basement space, and a new egress window brought daylight into the lower level for the first time. Completed in 2025 by True Craft Construction, the revitalized bungalow blends vintage character with modern livability—turning a neglected property into a fresh, desirable rental.
