As their family grew through marriages and grandchildren, the P family realized their existing home no longer supported their lifestyle or their plans for retirement. They needed a design that offered comfort, accessibility, and space for family visits. Ink Works Studio modified plans for a modern farmhouse, adding a main-floor Owner’s Suite for aging in place and generous guest rooms on the second floor. Large windows and an expansive rear deck capture sweeping views of the Ellet Valley, connecting every room to the landscape. Completed in 2024 by White Builders, the new home reflects the Phlegars’ next chapter—welcoming, accessible, and filled with natural light and family laughter.
