After raising their blended family in an aging farmhouse with uneven floors and a wood-burning heating system, the K family faced growing safety concerns and the challenges of multi-level living. Ink Works Studio transformed their rough sketch into a fully realized design for single-level living—an efficient ranch-style home with an accessible suite, wide-open gathering spaces, and thoughtful details that promote safety and comfort. Completed in 2025, the new home allows the K family to live comfortably and securely, surrounded by familiar land and family memories, in a space that feels both modern and deeply personal.
