When his mother was recently widowed, the F Family wanted to bring her under their roof for safety and connection—while still giving her privacy and independence. Ink Works Studio designed a thoughtful in-law suite addition that blends seamlessly with the existing home, providing a private living area, bedroom, and bath for Mom. We also guided the family through zoning and septic upgrades required to make the project a success. The new suite gives Mom her own comfortable, secure space and gives the family lasting peace of mind—proof that “home” can expand to fit every generation.
